NoRTH At The Domain — Cosy Italian Restaurant in Austin Texas

I am currently visiting Austin for about 18 days for my vacation. Last time I visited Austin in November, 2016, my activities are all about being a tourist. But, this time help with my local friend, I am currently tasting Texan lifestyle. Although the very day I arrived in Austin–Bergstrom International Airport was one of the coldest days in Austin, the winter in Austin is rather warm and sunny.

While recovering from a jet lag, I started feeling hungry. My local Texan mate brought me to the place called ‘The Domain‘, which is an enormous shopping area 15 mins away from the downtown located in northwest Austin. Well, I am not really used to a concept of American space. Everything is BIG. The Domain for me looked like another town in Austin having residential area, hotel, dining places, pubs, and shopping malls and so on. Due to a long travel, we decided to visit a calm and comforting Italian restaurant called ‘North‘ at Domain.

The friendly staff asked us whether we want a patio or inside the restaurant. I preferred to seat inside as the high ceiling added a good ambience to meals. We had Bolognese and a cup of cafe latte. The food, drink and ambience are all well harmonised. Service is also good too.

Recommended by my friend, we also ordered Zucca Chips, sliced fried Zucchini. At first, I felt salty, but, soon after, I could not stop eating like Springles!  It is ADDICTIVE. It is worth trying if you like crispy snack. Please stop by and have a relaxing dinner in NoRTH when you visit Austin.
